PUBLIC NOTICE

Effective June 20, 2009, the City of Long Beach’s Parks and Recreation Commission approved a Temporary Recreation Surcharge on certain rounds of golf played on City golf courses. 

This Surcharge goes directly to the City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine to assist with the funding of Departmental programs that are deemed to add to the quality of life in Long Beach.

The Surcharge Rates are as follows:

$1.00  18-hole rounds of golf at El Dorado Park GC, Recreation Park 18-hole GC and Skylinks at Long Beach Golf Course (except Long Beach Resident Senior cardholders, all junior golfers and contractually pre-paid rounds for junior college and high schools).

$0.50  18-hole rounds for Long Beach Resident Senior cardholders and all juniors at El Dorado Park GC, Recreation Park 18-hole GC and Skylinks at Long Beach GC.

$0.50  18-hole rounds of golf at Heartwell Park GC (except Long Beach Resident Senior cardholders and all junior golfers).

$0.50  9-hole rounds of golf at Recreation Park 9-hole GC (except Long Beach Resident Senior cardholders and all junior golfers).
